Brazil 2011
Hyacinth Macaws, Maned Wolf, Tufted Capucin, Jaguars and much more......

July 23 to August 9, 2011 we traveled to Brazil with Roy Toft Photo Safaris.  I have to admit that the travel part of roughly 56 hours is just no fun anymore (really, was it ever?), but within 5 minutes of arriving at our first destination, all was forgotten.  We immediately began photographing Hyacinth Macaws in beautiful evening light.  On this photo trip to Brazil we saw many endangered species and were very lucky to photograph many of them.  We spent 6 days on Cuaiba River with guides in search of Jaguars.  On three of those 11 hours days was saw them.  One of the days while sitting on the boats watching our Jaguar, lunch was brought to us.  Amazing to be sitting on of boat with just 3 photographers with lunch on your lap, watching a Jaguar sleep by the bank of the river.  To view some of the highlights from this trip, click here.
